I don't know if if actually works but it makes me feel better psychologically. My daughters hair was extremely smooth after using the product and her hair had a light after scent. If you smell the shampoo out of the bottle it is strong.... However once you rinse and it dries the scent isn't too strong at all!

I love the smell. If you like herbal smells like rosemary or lavender (real lavender/rosemary) than you will like this.
